GPTs to try -- Custom bots to do your bidding

I was bullish on ChatGPT plugins when they came out, and I'm mostly just as jazzed about their replacement with GPTs -- custom bots you can create and customize to act persistently in a certain set of directives, parameters, voices, tones, styles, and so on. They are incredibly easy to create -- if you are handy with prompt engineering, you will be good at creating GPTs.

Now that the GPT Store is out -- think of it like the App Store, for iPhone -- you can see what others have done with the custom bot platform, and get some ideas for yourself to try out in your own GPT sandbox.

I've made a few GPTs I consider helpful utilities and/or interesting conversation partners -- feel free to have a look and try them out here:

  • US President Quizmaster -- Get a better sense of history by learning who was president, when. 🎩
  • US History Quizmaster -- Another learning utility for exploring different areas of history in your spare moments. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  • Population Quizmaster -- Get quizzed on the populations of countries around the world, to get a feel for the size of nations. πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘πŸ½
  • Philosophy Quizmaster -- Engage Socratic-style with a great professor of ancient philsosophy. πŸ›οΈ
  • Time Traveler -- Take a text adventure to another era, past or future. πŸ•°οΈ
  • Buddha's wisdom -- Talk to an artificially intelligent enlightened being who believes it is the Buddha. πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
